Projects to Fund
Community development on the mission field is helping others with the goal of showing the love of Christ. Community development can come in various forms and is always used to help communities that are under-privileged to "move ahead" in terms of placement and progress in today's world.
The following projects are offered for your prayer and/or funding consideration. To give to a project, you can donate on-line by clicking on the link at the end of each project. To donate to Ted and Kim's ministry you can use this link and select Rabenold Ministry in the drop down box.

Beekeeping Project
No one has ever taught about beekeeping opportunities in the Rukwa region and they are endless. Seminars on beekeeping are planned to be held in three locations: Kapenta, Mumba, and Tatanda. The seminars will be held in an apiary that will be prepared in each of the locations. An apiary is a specially constructed area that can hold up to 20 beehives, located in a place with enough bee fodder plants to sustain it. An 8’ x 25’ cement slab will be poured, covered with a grass thatch roof, and encircled with a chain link fence. Construction of each apiary site will be $1,300

Clean Water Project
Two clean water projects for the villages of Kaoze (8,000-10,000 adults) and Kinambo (18,000 adults). These projects will include the damming of spring-fed mountain streams, building of reebar reinforced concrete tanks, running of multiple 1-1/2" poly pipes to various water stations in the above villages, providing water for high schools, primary schools, and government-run health centers. This water will also provide a means of irrigation so the semi-arid land these villages are located on can be turned into farmland. These are gravity-fed systems that need no further maintenance.Kaoze Clean Water project total need is $10,000

Lake Rukwa Boat Ministry
Due to rising fuel costs, additional funds are needed for the boat ministry to the fishing villages along the shores of Lake Rukwa. A team of men is being trained in the maintenance and troubleshooting of outboard engines. This ministry will help to equip Tanzanians to reach Tanzanians with the Gospel. The fishermen are encouraged by the visits and the Bibles and literature that is distributed in these villages.
