Ilemba Bible School

A lay Bible school has been completed in Ilemba village for training of spiritual leaders. Previously the school operated with students meeting in the church of Kapenta. At this time 33 students have graduated from this school filling positions such as evangelist, deacon, elder, Sunday school superintendent, with others going on to pastoral school.

Education for Youth

In February 2008 a year-round kindergarten was constructed to provide a head-start for 5- and 6-year-old children about to enter primary school. At this time there are 60 children enrolled. Local church leaders administrate the school; it is run by Tanzanians for Tanzanians. Rukwa Valley government leaders applauded the school and encouraged the development of additional pre-primary schools.
